Spirit River Community: A Retreat Centre Without Walls was launched in October 2024, and you are warmly invited to visit the page "About SRC" to learn the details! Between October 30, 2024 and April 30, 2026, 81 workshops were advertised on the SRC website:

Of these 81 workshops, 6 were offered as 2–4-week classes. 6 were cancelled due to insufficient registrations, or by the facilitator who was unavailable at the time

519 people have participated in one or more programs with SRC

In total, there were 1002 registrations for programs offered in the first 18 months

In the first year, I was able to pay the facilitators, my bookkeeper, and all other expenses, except for myself! Support for SRC slowly grew in the second year. In April 2026, I was able to pay myself $325 - in May, this amount doubled. And additional donors responded to this invitation in June 2026. This 'salary' is not sustainable, of course, but this is to be expected when launching a new small business/ministry. So I am writing to you today to invite you to support Spirit River Community with a monthly gift of $10.
This might sound so negligible that you may be tempted to think that your support can't make a difference. But it can! If even 50% of those who receives and reads the SRC newsletter or visits this website were to commit to $10/month, not only would all those involved be paid a just wage, but I would be able to continue to:

offer most workshops/retreats for under $100 CAD - with the hopes that keeping the registration fees affordable will allow people to participate in several workshops each year

give free registration to those who request this sort of support - no questions asked

hire additional support to assist me during the busy times
