Often overlooked in discussions of aging is the reality that our physical bodies and minds are wearing out, even as we are growing in wisdom and can play a critical role in affirming, nurturing and blessing the younger generations. How does that work if you can’t hear, or pick up your feet, or remember where you parked your car? In most faith traditions, aging is portrayed as a time of wisdom, being valued for knowledge and experience, giving to and receiving from community, and a recognition of impermanence. In the Judeo/Christian faith, life on earth is pictured as a temporary dwelling in God’s presence – a tent rather than a house. From a psychospiritual perspective, this webinar will explore how one blesses others while navigating the terrain of physical and mental diminishment, the transition from body to soul.
Access to the recording of this workshop will be sent to all who register.
$50 - general public; no fee for Growing in Wisdom participants
