How many of us would give anything to be able to silence the incessant inner voice of criticism that runs as a background to almost anything we do or don’t do? In this workshop, we will explore practical tools for turning the volume down on this running commentary, learning when it has valuable insight, and discerning where its rightful place is in our inner lives. We will learn how true hospitality toward this unwanted guest includes setting boundaries around when and how its input is accepted and when it must yield the platform to other voices within.

Janelle Schneider
Janelle Schneider is an author, speaker, workshop facilitator and spiritual director. She has been a spiritual director for 15 years, and has been engaged in ongoing study with enneagram symbol for over a decade. She has experienced Christianity through a variety of denominational lenses, which has given her a unique perspective from which to accompany others in their experience of the Divine and discovery of a nourishing faith practice. She and her husband live in Winnipeg, MB.
